1. Provisional booking
A provisional booking may be made by phone, fax or email and will be held for 5 days pending receipt of deposit and booking form.
2. Deposit
A deposit of 30% of total due must be paid to confirm booking. Bookings made within 6 weeks of stay must be paid in full.
3. Balance payment
Final amount must be paid 6 weeks in advance of arrival. Confirmation of payment, directions and key collection arrangements will be forwarded after clearance of final amount
4. Numbers
You may not exceed the number of people staying as stated on the booking form unless by prior arrangement. Strictly no camping or caravans.
5. Pets
Number of pets must be confirmed before arrival. No pets allowed in bedrooms. No pets to be left unattended in the cottage. Please keep pets off all furniture and ensure gardens are left clean at the end of your stay.
6. Cleaning.
Please ensure property is left in the same state as you found it.
7. Cancellation.
A £50.00 handling fee will be charged for cancellations made 6 weeks in advance of arrival.
50% refund for cancellations made 4-6 weeks before arrival
25% refund for cancellations made 2-4 weeks before arrival
10% refund for cancellations made 0-2 weeks before arrival
Further refunds may be possible if the property is re-let (at the discretion of Avington holidays).

8. Holiday insurance.
Please ensure you have adequate holiday insurance to cover cancellations.
9. As a condition of booking you shall:
a. Ensure all information given to us is correct regarding occupants.
b. Leave the property in the same condition as you found it.
c. Pay for all repairs and replacement of all items at reasonable cost required as a result of your occupation of the property.
d. Bring to the attention of the owner any problems or faults found at the property as soon as reasonably possible.
e. Not use the property for any non residential purposes without prior consent.
All bookings are at the sole discretion of Avington Holidays.
